We created a special website to communicate various activities related to the Benesse Group’s DX strategy. Benesse develops businesses that support people throughout their lives, from education to nursing care, aimed at helping each individual achieve their idea of “living well.” This website allows visitors to learn about their initiatives to promote digital technology utilization across all these areas, as they strive to provide better products and services.

The project began by interviewing people across various positions to verbalize [WHY] they are promoting DX, [HOW] they are implementing it, and [WHAT] effects it is producing. Additionally, we deepened our understanding of the group’s overall services and learned about the daily motivations and work of the Digital Innovation Partners (DIP) – the organization responsible for implementing DX initiatives across departments. Understanding these specific actions and the people behind them helped inform our content design.

We wove the WHY, HOW, and WHAT of their DX promotion efforts – as revealed through our interviews – throughout the site’s content. The WHY is boldly proclaimed on the top page, while the HOW and WHAT are clearly explained in terms of cause and effect on the STRATEGY page. The CASESTUDY section features the WHO – the talent behind the DX promotion – and their various initiatives, thoroughly conveying the breadth of their expertise and areas of specialization.
For the visual tone, we aimed to embody their unique worldview by creating a sophisticated digital aesthetic that feels both flexible and clear while maintaining an advanced, refined quality.
