Overview

Website design that is conscious of 'user trends'.

We were in charge of creating a website for ‘Soup Stock Tokyo’, a store that specializes in soup with the concept of ‘eating soup’. We did ‘website design based on user trends seen from the website analysis’, and ‘Component-oriented design and development”, etc.

Insight

Website design based on research results.

In this project, we spent a considerable amount of time on preliminary research such as analyzing access to existing websites and social media surveys, etc. We clarified what kind of pages users are viewing, at what points they leave, and what kind of information they want, by conducting an analysis of access and user surveys that included existing websites as well as social media.

Idea

A flow line design that will turn the user into a 'fan'.

One of the features of Soup Stock Tokyo is the abundant menu that changes every week at each store. Looking at the analysis of access, we found that the number of views of the ‘Menu of the Week’ page was overwhelmingly large. Therefore, it has been designed with the ‘Menu of the Week’ page positioned as the starting point for user behavior, and from there, users can move around the site according to their interests.
Improving the store page, which was the second most accessed after the menu, was also an important theme.
In order to design a function that allows you to easily search for stores using multiple criteria such as location and available products, we created a mock-up and tested it over and over again.
Also, this website is expected to be viewed a lot when people are on the go, so we also tried to reduce its overall weight so that it can be used with ease even on a mobile device.
